[attr="id","listingTitle"]General Board Rules [attr="id","listingBody"] [attr="id","listingCenter"] No OOC Drama: This includes everything from calling names to flaming to disrespecting others’ beliefs and notions. Please keep it civil at all times with everyone on the site; be it a member or a staff. RP sites are for fun. Remember that at all times and keep all the drama to IC plots. (Now, that we love!)
PG-13: Iwos is open to members of all ages. And that means you need to fade to black when needed. Don’t go into details when it comes to gore, extreme violence, nudity, drugs etc. Let’s teach the young generation how to write well without obscenity.
No Plagiarism: DO NOT post content that isn’t yours and claim it to be yours. This includes, but not limited to, posts, templates, and images. Coding and digital graphics are arts as well; respect the artists. Leave credits to the original coder/artist in every place you use their content.
Activity Check: Happens every month on the first week. If you are going on a break, inform a staff and we will keep your character sheet. If not, it will be archived. If you left for whatever reason without informing and want to come back after a long break, welcome back. Your character sheet will still be in the archives. Just PM a mod and he/she will move it to the accepted section.

[attr="id","listingTitle"]IC Rules [attr="id","listingBody"] [attr="id","listingCenter"] One Account Per Character: You can create as many characters as you want. However, ensure that you can keep all of them active. If we find that you are creating many characters but not actually RPing with any of them, we will stop you from creating any more. General Roleplay Rules: You know these. No godmoding. No metagaming. No powergaming. No text-speak in IC posts. Legendary/Mutated: Characters who obtained legendary or mutated Pokemon through events or other means are expected to be very active. If you do not post ICly at least once in two weeks, these Pokemon will be taken from your character and released in the wild. If you are going on a break, inform a mod. Depending on the duration of the break, you may or may not be allowed to keep the Pokemon. Liquid Time: It is up to you to keep the chronology of your travels in check. In your tracker, the threads will be logged in the order in which they were locked. Non-Linear Routes: You can post in any board at any time. However, note that each location has its own rules depending on which faction is controlling it. So, it would be wise to read those rules before starting a thread there. Of course, these rules are IC and you are allowed to break them (in fact, I encourage you to break them), and it will lead to interesting consequences. Word Count: At least 100 words per post in threads where you are RPing with another member. Otherwise, it is really difficult for the other person to respond. Solo threads do not have a post count. However, one-liners will not be tolerated. Thread Tags: All threads must have one of the following tags in square brackets before the thread title: Solo [Solo] – This is a thread where only you post. Usually, training threads where you interact with your Pokemon to level them up. No Pokemon encounters.
Social Private [SP] – Here, two or more characters interact, along with their Pokemon. Participating members are pre-planned and you may not join the thread without permission. No Pokemon encounters.
Social Open [SO] – Anyone can join this thread. No Pokemon encounters.
Pokemon Encounter Solo [PES] – Solo thread where Pokemon encounters will happen. First post should include the Party in a spoiler.
Pokemon Encounter Private [PEP] – Private thread with Pokemon encounters for every participant. Everyone should include their Party in a spoiler on their first post.
Since it can be assumed that this is a pre-plotted thread, anyone can attack/interact/catch any Pokemon that has been spawned by any character. At any given time, number of Pokemon has to be equal to half the number of total members (rounded up). If a person has attacked a certain Pokemon, they cannot shift to the trust method and vice versa. However if one person is attacking, another player is still free to attempt the trust method by interacting (for example comforting, helping) with the Pokemon and vice versa.
Pokemon Encounter Open [PEO] – Open thread with Pokemon encounters for every participant. Everyone should include their Party in a spoiler on their first post.
The thread must have a post order, based on when someone joins. A new person can join only at the end of the current post order, before the new cycle begins. Presumably before the thread starter posts. At any given time, number of Pokemon has to be equal to half the number of total members (rounded up). The person who spawns the Pokemon decides what they want to do with it, you cannot attack it without their explicit OOC permission, you're free to interact, however you cannot attempt to catch it. Spawners are requested to add an OOC note specifying whether they would like others to attack the Pokemon or not.
Modded Threads [Mod] - If the rolls and calculations are too much for you or if you are on mobile most of the time and it's too difficult, a mod can do all the rolls and damage calculations for you. Just add the tag [Mod] along with the original thread tag and request a mod here. Post in the same thread if you require a modded battle too.
Remember, Pokemon encounter threads that break faction/area rules are always susceptible to interruptions, the interrupting player is allowed to ignore the thread tag. Egg Hatching: To hatch an egg, you must carry it in your party for two threads. Each thread should be at least 20 posts long. On the third thread, the egg will hatch. Thread Locking: Once you are finished with a thread, please post the link in the Evaluations. A mod will go over your thread to ensure all rules have been followed and lock the thread, adding all the rewards to your tracker. In addition, for threads that have 21 or more posts, each participant will receive three random items as a bonus. Note that, social threads give only money and PE threads give only exp. The bonus items apply for both kinds of threads as long as the minimum post count is met. Pokemon Obedience: Any Pokemon for which you are the Original Trainer (OT), will obey you at all times. For Pokemon for which you are not the OT, if they are of a level greater than the level range corresponding to the number of badges you have, when they are traded to you, they will not obey you.
