Rocks and darkness surrounded the bluenette as he entered the cave known as Ebur Expedition. Using the light from his Pokedex, he was able to see roughly five feet in front of him and given the size of the cave, that did him no good. Worse than that, he realized the light would be more of an attraction than a way to keep the wild Pokemon at bay. Ironically enough, just as the thought left his mind, the sound of flapping wings reverberated off the walls. Finding the source of the noise, Lu spotted a Woobat. Tugging on Toshiro's waist, he pointed to the bat and shook his head no. Having stepped past the Woobat, Toshiro was more on guard for random Pokemon encounters. Rightfully so it seemed, as he had barely made it ten feet past the Woobat when the sound of grinding gears filled the area. Looking up ahead, the bluenette spotted a couple a Klink. Although he knew allowing Lu to battle them would increase his experience, he had limited time in this area and need to make it effective. That being said, he had Lu navigate the area pushing them past the first set of Klink blocking their path. Satisfied with its intimidation Riolu, kept pressing forward only to be stopped by another Klink. Glancing up to Toshi, Lu paused before effectively issuing another intimidating response. Nodding, Toshiro remained quiet as Lu once again caused the Pokemon before them to completely go rigid before allowing them to pass by without issue. Toshiro was presently surprised at Lu. It seemed like just yesterday he had was still just a level one Pokemon with no experience and now he was bullying Pokemon to leave them alone. After having run into the twin Klinks, Toshiro continued on until the path came to a fork. On the left, he could hear noises, remniscent of Pokemon waiting to come at him. On the right, the sound of whether stopped him in his tracks as a cold draft through. Making up his mind quite easily given he didn't like the cold, Toshiro picked the left path. His steps echoed as he traveled down the path. The noise seemingly staying constant as he got deeper and deeper. He was almost convinced he had walked into an illusion until a Beldum appeared out of nowhere and blocked their path. Nodding to Lu, Riolu stepped up to the Beldum and prepped a Counter by taking a defensive Parry stance. As the Beldum launched forward, it executed a Take Down, slamming right into the Rioulu. Given the Beldum's state, Toshi figured he had this capture in the bag, however; this was not the case. As the orb rocked and shook, the bluenette began to worry as the orb didn't click immediately. You can't be serious? this little guy is either rebellious or not wanting to be captured, he though as the Pokeball shook once more before exploding open. "Well aren't you feisty? Looks like you just need some bait." The Beldum had other plans however as it moved to Take Down the Riolu once more. Connecting on the assault, Lu skittered back. Shaking its head, Riolu stood and crossed it arms. Seemingly un-amused with the situation, Toshiro couldn't help but chuckle at how human like the Emanation Pokemon seemed. Reaching into his bag, Toshiro plucked two items for use. The first being Pokefood which he tossed into the air piece by piece as the Beldum swam through the air to gulp them up. After the little feeding session ended, the teen waved the red and white ball in front of the Beldum and inquired, "Now will you join me?" Excitement seemed to radiate from the blue Pokemon as it floated to the Pokeball, clicked the button and quickly resided within the ball. Reaching into his bag once more, Toshiro procured a couple of potions. Using one, he spritzed the Riolu causing it to completely heal of its wounds. Taking the other potion, he did the same to the Beldum. Plucking Lu's Pokeball from his hip, Toshi clicked the orb over Lu and returned the now healthy Pokemon. "Good work Lu. You'll see more action soon enough." Turning to the Beldum, he smirked. "As for you, you need to gain more levels." Beldum looked to the trainer and hummed in agreement. With the two of them on the same page, the sudden appearance of Cryogonal phased neither one of them. Another audible hum was heard as the metallic blue Pokemon sliced through the air. It wasn't log before the Iron Ball Pokemon collided with the Crystallize Pokemon and sent it tumbling back. Bruises were evident as the Cryogonal struggled to remain floating. Its orb like eyes flickering with each breath it took. However, it would not admit defeat that easily. Sucking in like a vacuum, Cryogonal unleashed a wave of chilly air that seemed to deal little to no damage to Beldum. Toshiro reached into his bag and grabbed Pokeball. The thought passed and flickered as Beldum wasted no time in following up the last Take Down with another. A surprised Toshi glanced to the Beldum as he floated back to his side. "You were really adamant about fainting that Cryogonal eh?" Returning the Pokeball to his bag, Toshiro patted the Beldum and spoke. "Hmm, I suppose letting you pick a partner crime would be fine. But don't faint everyone okay?" Humming once more the Beldum swayed back and forth in an understanding manner before leading the way back along the path. Hovering towards the left, Toshiro nodded and trailed the Iron Ball Pokemon down the path. As they moved along the narrowing hallway, the sounds of blades meeting rock caused Toshiro to pick up the pace and halt the Beldum. Giving him a quizzical look, the Beldum stopped and peered around the bend. Jumping back, the creature whirred with excitement as it nudged Toshiro to proceed. Taking a look himself, Toshi sighed as he realized what the Beldum was all excited about. "Let me guess, you wanna battle him huh Oz? " Nearly jumping for joy, Toshiro almost obliged but taking another look at the Pawniard, he realized Oz might've been boxing outside his weight class. Sighing he spoke. "We wont fight him, but maybe we can help him clear this rock." Nodding, Beldum zipped over to the Pawniard and began humming to the Pokemon. Toshiro sat back and watched as the two Pokemon worked togteher to clear the path leading them out of the cave. It seemed like the blockage was caused by another Pokemon, but the bluenette was unsure of which. This area provided several different types of Pokemon and narrowing the who and why was about as easy as finidng a Suicune. Next to impossible. A soft sigh escaped his lips as he kept an eye out for any possible intruders. Though nothing begged for immediate attention, he could never be to sure when out in the wild. Sweeping his gaze back to their progress, a pleasant look of surprised formed as he noted the amount of progress they had made. Well we should be done here soone enough. Before he knew it, the path was completely cleared and allowed the trainer and his Beldum to pass through Ebur unscathed. Thanking the Pawniard, Toshi patted Beldum and ushered for it to follow him this time around. Pawniard satisfied with it's work, exited the scene and scampered back off into the cavern behind them. Shrugging, Toshiro continued along, the cold wind chill from earlier returning as they exited the cavern and were met with soft snow covered valley. "Well this is new," murmured the bluenette.
