[attr="id","listingTitle"]Dice Roll System [attr="id","listingBody"] [attr="id","listingCenter"] Code For Dice Roll: You can roll dice(s) in a post using the following code without the asterisk. Alter the range according to need. [*roll=1-100] Three Rolls Per Post: In all Pokemon Encounter threads, each post must contain three rolls: Pokemon Encounter Roll (PE Roll), Level Roll, and Ability Roll.PE Roll – The first roll is the PE Roll. This determines which Pokemon will appear. For detailed information on available Pokemon, roll ranges and caps for each area, please check PE Roll Index.
Level Roll – The second roll is to determine what level the Pokemon will be. This is dependent on the number of badges a character has obtained.
No. of Badges | Level Roll Range | | 1-10 | 1 Badge | 11-20 | 2 Badges | 21-30 | 3 Badges | 31-40 | 4 Badges | 41-50 | 5 Badges | 51-60 | 6 Badges | 61-70 |
Note that a player with higher number of badges can choose to roll with a lower level range. However, the roll cap for Pokemon Encounter should also correspond to that range. For example, a character with 5 badges can choose Level Roll range of 21-30 (which corresponds to 2 badges). But, he/she should pick the PE Roll range that corresponds to 2 Badges as well. Ability Roll – The third roll is the Ability roll and this determines the ability of your Pokemon. In addition, it also determines whether the Pokemon is Shiny or not. The range for the Ability Roll is always 1-1025.
Roll | Ability/Shiny | | Ability 1, Not Shiny | 500 | Ability 1, Shiny | 501-999 | Ability 2, Not Shiny | 1000 | Ability 2, Shiny | 1001-1024 | Hidden Ability, Not Shiny | 1025 | Hidden Ability, Shiny |

[attr="id","listingTitle"]Pokemon Encounter Rules [attr="id","listingBody"] [attr="id","listingCenter"] A character will encounter a Pokemon only if the thread is tagged as a Pokemon Encounter thread. (PES/PEP/PEO) You must roll for every post where you are not interacting with or battling a wild Pokemon. Once you rolled and determined which Pokemon will appear, you have two options depending on the level of the Pokemon. If the wild Pokemon is of lower level than any Pokemon in anyone's party in the thread, then you may choose to interact with it (pet it, fight it, try to catch it), or you can ignore it. If you ignore it, the Pokemon will run away and you can roll for a different Pokemon in your next post.
If the wild Pokemon is of higher level than any Pokemon in anyone's party in the thread, then you cannot ignore it and must fight/interact with it. Interaction must last at least 3 posts before you can move on to the next Pokemon. Wild Pokemon do not have any EVs. You choose the nature, gender, and moves of the wild Pokemon. However, it can only have moves that they learned naturally through level up. They cannot have any move that they will learn eventually or TM/HM moves or any egg moves. Also, they should always have at least one attacking move unless their level prohibits it. Unless the wild Pokemon have no attacking moves, they will use an attacking move at least once every three rounds. You can interact/attack on the same post you encounter the Pokemon. If you are battling, both encounter rolls and battle rolls must be included. The maximum number of Pokemon you can catch in a single thread is limited to 2 per member. Encounters are unlimited.

[attr="id","listingTitle"]Pokemon Capture Rules [attr="id","listingBody"] [attr="id","listingCenter"] There are two ways to capture a wild Pokemon: Battle and Trust.Battle: For this method to be valid, the wild Pokemon should have at least one effective attacking move. You fight the wild Pokemon with your own Pokemon and bring its HP down. However, if the wild Pokemon faints, you can't catch it. If the wild Pokemon defeated all your Pokemon, then it will run away and the thread will end immediately. In order to capture a Pokemon, you must roll a d100 (Capture Roll) and obtain a favourable roll that follows these rules: You start with the base chance your Pokeball offers for capturing the Pokemon. For example, a normal Pokeball offers 10% chance of capturing a Pokemon at full health and no status ailment. Add the wild Pokemon’s lost HP percentage. For example, if the Pokemon’s full HP is 80 and it has a 60 remaining, then you add [(80-60)/80]*100=25%. If it is in decimals, always round down.
If the Pokemon has a status ailment, add 10%.
If you are using a beneficial Pokeball, add the respective percentage increase.
Note: For Pokeballs that depend on the time of the day for beneficial effect, if you do not mention what time of the day it is in your IC post, the time of the post will be considered. We follow CET/CEST and 6 AM to 6 PM is considered day; the other half, night. Finally, you add all the numbers to get your final chance of capturing the Pokemon. For example, if your final chance is 63%, you need to roll a number between 1 and 63 in the d100 to capture the Pokemon. Trust: The second method is to gain the trust of the wild Pokemon by battling/interacting and making sure to respect its wishes. It's wishes are dependent on an extra binary trust roll [d2]. The Pokemon is considered willing to fight, if you roll 1: You must battle these Pokemons, to gain their trust, whether you lose or win the battle, so long as you do not make the wild Pokemon faint, you will still have the capture rate based on the number of posts.
The Pokemon is considered unwilling to fight, if you roll 2: To catch such Pokemons you can interact with them, perhaps help them accomplish something (be creative!)
During interactions or battles (so long as you do not kill the opposing Pokemon), you can roll for capture attempt after the third post since the Pokemon has been spawned, provided you have been in the thread while it spawned. (You cannot enter a thread and perform a capture straight away, just because its the Pokemon's third post.)
Every three posts that the Pokemon is interacted with, increases the chance that the Pokemon will follow you by 20%. | 3 Posts = 20% | 6 Posts = 40% | 9 posts = 60% | 12 posts = 90%
You can roll only three times for one Pokemon, failing on the third attempt will cause the Pokemon to run away.
Also, in the post you roll to catch the Pokemon, you can give it Pokemon food, which will increase the capture rate by 10%. (So if you roll on your 6th post with food you get a 40+10 = 50% chance)
However, in the event that you do not catch the Pokemon after giving food to it, it will take the food and run away.
