The world sits at a precipice, in a careful balance. Two strong forces grapple for power. As the wheel goes around, with one team on top and then another, the unrest is palpable. With ever changing laws and policies, ground under a mountain of legalities and banal procedures, stands the new era of Pokemon trainers. What are these two opposing forces you ask? It's Genos and Vitalis. Two teams that passionately support their own causes. Genos believes Pokemon are symbols of strength and power, it's the responsibility of the trainers to make them the best that they can be. Vitalis believes that Pokemon are a symbol or freedom and friendship and the trainers must strive to attain a level of mutual respect and care between the two species. Who will you support? Or would you like to carve your own path? Join us to find out what you are destined for.

Not too long ago, a young and ambitious professor had expanded the realms of his research as (like most) he sought to create a team so powerful that none could ever beat him. The difference? This young man succeeded, at least up until very recently. Soon the man gained himself a variety of followers, especially after the battles his Pokemon weathered without breaking a sweat. In the almost mythic and legendary construction of Genos Laboratories, everything is deemed possible.
The lab may have been physically confining, but the reach of the set goals were limitless. Harder. Better. Faster. Stronger. As his task force grew, so did his power, through influence, instilling fear, commanding grudging admiration and respect. Now this lab is a well established centre where Pokemon are pushed more often than not, beyond their limit, tested till they break and only the ones who have braved the harshest of conditions are carefully picked for well-planned tasks. The only thing stopping Genos from complete domination is the organisation, led by a girl, the only one to have ever beaten this charismatic leader... But the two leaders have clashed multiple times, and there has been no clear winner. The cycle goes on and so does the ensuing power struggle.

What started as one match between a girl and the leader of Genos, led to a revolution, where she was put on a pedestal and asked to lead an organisation called Vitalis, a small group of rebels which fought against the mistreatment of Pokemon and sought a poster child to prove that Pokemon can be powerful without being put through pressure tests. This young lady was perfect. She formerly worked as a doctor, particularly treating Pokemon and their trainers from injuries caused by other Pokemon often after long drawn battles between overachieving trainers... She still does continue her work as a healer.
It was believed that she almost possessed a certain magical trait which helped Pokemon feel better and at ease around her. While some say she took in and treated Pokemon that had been abandoned by Genos itself and raised them as her own, eventually using them against their former master in battle, there is no conclusive proof of such a thing. What also remains unknown is the method that she used to train the powerful and collaborative team. Though her propositions maybe less scientific, they're based on healing, love and conservation. She strongly believes that one must nurture the free will of a Pokemon and let them choose where their loyalties lie. These beliefs are reflected in the co-operation of Vitalis.
