Just ahead laid yet another cavern open for exploration. As the duo neared, Lu winced slightly as heat began to emanate from the mouth of the cavern. "Seems it'll be quite a bit toasty in there huh?"The small bipedal Pokemon nodded in agreement as they both entered anyway. A slight haze filled the dimly lit crag ridden mound they now traversed. Steam seemingly appearing out of nowhere with each step they took. As they approached another crater-like vent, a small silhouette emerged from it, revealing a Pokemon. , ordered the blunette. With no hesitation, the bipedal pup rocketed forward and delivered a quick jab to the Shinx, causing it to stagger backward slightly. The pokemon's eyes gleamed as if a personal Rivalry had just formed between the two. Roaring out, the Shinx glared the Riolu down. Unsure what was happening, Lu stepped back. Flipping out his pokedex, Toshiro glanced at Shinx's entry. Hmm so right now he should know Leer, Tackle and possibly Charge. Going off of the stare he just gave Lu, I'm willing to bet he just used Leer. Meaning Lu's defense was lowered in the process. Best to keep using Quick Attack. Lu is faster so Counter won't work, and if Shinx tries to Leer a few more times then Tackle, we should be able to capture him before he has the chance to knock Lu out.active pokemon | 31/31 HP |
