Frigid waters lapped at the brook's edge with each passing wave. Frost littered the ground in a blanket-esque fashion; crushed snow appearing like wrinkles in the white fabric. Toshiro's boots squelched upon each step as he traveled alongside the stream. The verdant gecko Pokemon trailed close behind as they kept their eyes peeled for the one Pokemon the two came to look for. The forest-like setting seemed relatively quiet for an afternoon. Despite the noise the two were making, it seemed none were too interested in their adventure through the Whispering Taiga. Trees rattled in the soft winds, shaking loose various clumps of crystals, and enveloping the ground below. Toshiro was curious now. The area seemed far too deserted to be true. He had heard rumors that the Pokemon of Iwos were becoming spooked due to the lost of a fabled mythical Pokemon; but to Toshiro it was just that; a fabled myth. Shaking his head, he watched as something dashed along the tree-line to his left. Scanning the trees, he spotted the familiar triangular shaped Pokemon known as Snorunt. Not impressed with the find, Treecko simply glared in its direction; causing it to flee within moments. "At his rate, we'll be here awhile..." muttered the blunette. active pokemon  | 37/37 HP |

Trudging along, his thoughts returned to the reason he was here. He wanted to acquire two Ninetales. One baring the Ice-typing, the other donning the Fire-typing. What compelled him to retrieve the two Pokemon remained unknown even to himself, but he was drawn to the challenge anyway. *rustle* *rustle*The trees shifted again, this time accompanied by the movement of a Slakoth. Though Toshiro wasn't interested in capturing the sloth-like Pokemon, he found it interesting how disinterested the Pokemon itself seemed. No care to the world it seemed. Hmm perhaps I could one day be as carefree as that Slakoth, but until I take down Genos and Vitalis for their dictator-like crimes, I will have to work hard.
