[attr="id","bioSub"]appearance The first thing anyone would notice about Raun is his eye color. His large, piercing, bright purple eyes coupled with his smiling lips and straight brown hair would have made him a charmer, if only he didn’t wear clothes that are two sizes bigger. Raun stands 5’ 10” high and is lean. He may look skinny, but he has toned muscles owing to his time playing tennis back in Goldcrest. He is mostly seen in a plain shirt under a dark blue sweat jacket. However, in sunny days, he feels comfortable in a light colored t-shirt. He has several light blue jeans and seldom wears any other color. He hates footwear and wears them only when absolutely necessary; not to mention he is very picky about them too. [attr="id","bioSub"]biography Raun was the first born for Michele and Lawrence Hunter. The Hunter family is well-known for their supplies in the Doveport Shopping District. While their shop’s name ‘Hunter’s Haul’ sounds extremely suspicious, it is one of the most trusted places in Iwos for quality Pokemon food and accessories. Everyone in the family adores Pokemon, but hates trainers for using them as tools in their fights and tournaments. However, this little fact is seldom known to outsiders. The family had to keep up its reputation because a large part of their customer base includes trainers. The tolerance to this cockfighting with Pokemon was extended only to outsiders. Not a single Hunter was ever allowed to become a trainer. The topic itself was so taboo that no kid in the family ever even thought about it. No kid except Raun. Raun was always a troublesome child in the house. He asked too many questions; most of them about Pokemon. Initially, his parents were more than happy to teach him about all kinds of Pokemon in existence. However, they stopped answering him abruptly once he started asking questions like, ‘Which type is strong against Water? What move is the most powerful?’ etc. They knew where this was headed and wanted to curb it before it got out of control. However, what they didn’t know was that it would never be under control. Raun isn’t unsympathetic towards Pokemon. In fact, he loves them more than anything. But, he doesn’t see any harm in training them and making them fight against each other. ‘It’s not like we are forcing them to fight. Pokemon and trainers are the best of friends and neither fights a battle alone,’ he would say in retaliation to his mother’s discouraging attitude. Nothing was going to stop this boy from chasing his dreams or so he thought. While his mother was very gentle about dissuading him, his father wasn’t. Lawrence looked down upon Raun like he is trouble all the time and this made the boy crave for his affection. Over time, this need for a friendly father overcame the desire to be a trainer and Raun gave up. He spent his teens going to a regular school and then eventually to college. He majored in business administration and joined the family in running the store. Pretending to be happy couldn’t have been any more difficult. Every day he watched one trainer after another walk into and out of his store, bragging over their victories and adventures. Furthermore, no matter what he did, his father was never pleased. For years he had attempted to win over his father’s love by doing exactly what was demanded of him. But in Lawrence’s head Raun was never more than a troublemaker. On the day Raun turned twenty-four, he met a man who would change his life forever. The Genos Leader, Jarvis, made him realize how tired he was of his pretentious life. He was doing something he didn’t enjoy and his life was as monotonous as it gets. The store will be fine without him. He had numerous cousins who are just perfect to replace him as the next Chief Hunter. He packed his bag and left Doveport, vowing to come back only after making a name for himself. He followed Jarvis and now works in his laboratory, trying to learn more about Pokemon. However, Raun still doesn’t know the true intentions of Genos and is naively under the impression that they do no harm to Pokemon. | [attr="id","bioRight"] ooc info ☆ NAME Ryuzaki ☆ OTHER CHARACTERS N/A ☆ FACE CLAIM Code Geass Lelouch Lamperouge, Raun Hunter |
