[attr="id","listingTitle"]Gym Challenges [attr="id","listingBody"] [attr="id","listingCenter"] - There are two ways to earn a gym badge. The first is the conventional way where you battle the gym leader's Pokemon and defeat him/her. The second is a tasked RP performed along with the gym leader. Here, we lay out the general rules for gym battles. For specifics on the tasked RPs, please consult the respective gyms as it varies from one to another.
- Gym challenges are dynamic in Iwos. The gym leader’s number of Pokemon and their levels depend on the number of badges you have.
No. of Badges | No. of Gym Pokemon | Gym Pokemon Level | 0 | 2 | 18 | 1 | 3 | 24 | 2 | 4 | 30 | 3 | 5 | 36 | 4 | 6 | 42 | 5 | 6 | 48 | Rebattle | 6 | 54 |
- The Pokemon gym leaders bring in are not always the same. However they belong to certain types.
Gym | Pokemon Types | Windrip Gym | Ground/Rock/Normal | Ashborne Gym | Fire/Dragon/Flying | Sherfield Gym | Grass/Bug/Poison | Doveport Gym | Ghost/Dark/Steel | Aquarin Gym | Water/Psychic/Fairy | Azmarin Gym | Ice/Electric/Fighting |
- All gym battles are single battles.
- No items may be used.
- You may bring in only as many Pokemon as the gym leader brings in.
- If any of your Pokemon's level is greater than the Gym Leader's Pokemon's level, they will be assumed to be of the same level as the Gym Leader's when calculating the damage. However, they will still know all the moves that they learnt.
